3 Futures, a co-production of Dance Theatre MD and the Tampere Conservatory, brings together dancers from multiple generations.
The show highlights the work of four choreographers. Handpicked from MD’s repertoire: an intimate remix of Anniina Kumpuniemi’s The Missing Piece (2010) and Full (2005), and a meditative revisit to Mari Rosendahl’s Secunda Prattica (2016). And premiering on March 23, two works from other talents: Valtteri Raekallio’s choreography for Tampere Conservatory dance students, you accustomed to yourself, i accustomed to my other self, and Sakari Kinnunen’s solo debut Straight On.

Based on firsthand experience, Sakari Kinnunen’s solo breaks through the barriers of shame related to mental health issues. There’s no need to apologize for having problems that are an everyday part of millions of lives, or for seeking help.
